Shame on Albanese, Wong and their fellow-travellers in the ALP. The indignity of their rushed response in support of an illegal war with no justification in either self-defence or emancipatory prospect had all the hallmarks of the snivelling imperial crony.

Gough’s legacy has been systematically trashed for no good reason under this regime of weaklings.

We have known the US and Israel have been hungry for this war for a long time, and we know how spineless Albo and gang are, their brainless support of this illegal war leaves me speechless.

Excellent summary

A deplorable, cynical, self-serving, illegal and indiscriminate attack, long-planned despite "peace" "negotiations", and our pollies twist themselves into subservient knots. Thanks for your wider perspective.

Thanks for this clear analysis. Hegseth's incoherence in the presser yesterday shows how dangerous this is. Albanese & Wong are contradictory in their explanations of why Australia supports this madness. We do not have the leaders we need in this critical time.

Labor pretends to not be complicit, while still supplying war crime arms components, still trading with war crime regimes, still refusing to call their allies out for their war crimes, and still sharing intelligence with war crime regimes. ALP must stand for Another Liberal Party, because they're functionally mostly the same as the imperialist Neoliberal (Liberal +National +PHON +micros) parties on the influential, trillion $ policies. They just deny, delay, and disavow their collusion, to gather more decent voters into their enshitiffication. https://www.theguardian.com/australia-news/2026/mar/03/isaac-herzog-israeli-president-asio-meeting-australia-visit-ntwnfb

The first world started with an assassination, and the last world war might too.
