AFAIK, in the Australian Parliament, only The Greens opposed the US war of aggression on Iran. Only The Greens and some micro parties opposed supplying the Israel g3n0c1d3 of Palestine. Only The Greens have consistently and genuinely supported a transition away from petroleum transport and heating systems. Do you see the pattern? For genuine solutions: https://greens.org.au/platform
Thank you for expressing so eloquently and comprehensively the sabotage of Australia by this ALP govt, in addition to its bloody hand in genocide, ethnic cleansing, societal division.
Albanese is developing a Morrison-like persona in the national political narrative. He may not be in Hawaii but it certainly feels like it. And even if he is holding the hose, it's running on empty. For the sake of the nation, he should retire to the Central Coast and take his dog for its daily walks.
This is surely an oxymoronic anomaly, Hastie calling out Elbow for supporting Trump. Does he still support AUKUS or is just playing political games as he does best,Hastings only aim is to be PM.
This is a pure made in the USA worldwide economic disaster. As usual the Aussie government has completely sold out Australia in favour of the US and Israel.
Good article, sums up what a lot of people are thinking. However, while I agree with your polemic re foreign affairs, it leaves the question of our unquestioning support for US. Could it be that our wonderful elites ( govt, corporate and arts) are unable to operate outside of US structure? Could it be that Australia is actually owned and controlled by US corporate interests? What price are Australians prepared to pay to be actually sovereign? And how do writers like you, Mr Bogan Intelligentsia, write about the cost of sovereignty? Love your work!
Joel, is anyone one pointing out Pauline Hanson is betraying regional Australia with her calls to increase Australian military contributions to this war?

You, lowly snail, and Joel Jenkins are both 100% right

Great piece. This needs wide coverage!
I fear Albanese's legacy will be Labor as the last party of neoliberalism unless radical change happens soon.
