Dear valued supporters,
Its seems like another world away when I put together my first article, deep into Melbourne’s second lock-down in winter 2021. Over the years its been such a journey, and I couldn’t have done it without the help and support of you Bogan Intelligentsia subscribers.
Its an honour to be with you over the years, as we have tried to make sense of the changing world around us. Bushfires, pandemics, war, poverty and genocide have defined our lives collectively, and in the vacuum of power and inaction by our leaders, we now often seek the truth outside the meagre diet of legacy information that is provided in Australia. We share so many things in common.

From cost of living, looking to a sovereign independent future in the region, or a deserved critique of the media and political classes—for over one hundred articles—Bogan Intelligentsia has grown thanks to all your love and support.
So we are launching a brand new podcast this week!
The first episodes are now available on streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Podcasts and YouTube, featuring:
Journalist Amy Remeikis joining us to discuss the post election landscape, including the role of journalism in defining our national discussion:
Cricket writer and broadcaster Peter Lalor comes on the program to talk about cricket, censorship in the media, and discusses his controversial removal from SEN during the February Test in Sri Lanka for his social media posts supporting Gaza:
It makes a big difference to help us old bogans get this thing out there, don’t miss weekly new episodes by joining us today!
I work a day job out in the fields of Melbourne’s outer North-West, and come home to write these articles and record these programs in the evening. One of the ways we can keep all of this going is with the support of subscribers, and I ask if you can all kindly follow the Bogan Intelligentsia podcast, leave a comment, like and share:
Let’s build this community together and make our launch a success!
With gratitude,
The Bogan Intelligentsia Team
