I do not concede it was either a "poorly managed health crisis" (find a better one), or that there has been a "lurch to the right" - in fact the far right has been generally demonised and will take a long time to recover. Obviously we need a Federal ICAC - but whether it should only investigate actual crimes, or turning a blind eye as well, is an interesting dichotomy.

Hi Joe,

I probably should have written it as "poorly managed vaccine rollout" where there is none worse in the OECD. The lurch to the right eludes something about the most conservative NSW premier since WWII (not my words), the and the overt messaging from the corporate press.

Unlike your position, I see different things when it comes to the "lurch to the right" within the political spectrum of everyday people, away from the education and influence that guides critical analysis. This is one factor that many have trouble grasping, the scope of it all, except for the politicians and the foreign owned entities that look to divide populations similarly to the United States.

It seems most of us agree on a federal ICAC, it kind of makes sense.
